  • Do you use GIMP?

I was wondering if there are any designers out there that use GIMP instead of photoshop?

I downloaded it while ago becuase photoshop would slow down my PC too much. Its not too bad.

i dont think many people use GIMP...
personally, & i think many people will agree with me on this, i feel that currently there`s just no match for photoshop!!
so, if people use software like GIMP or any other... its purely due to their inablity to run the phtoshop either due to its high cost or high system requirements!!

I don't use GIMP. I use only PhotoShop for designing works.

I used it, but then stopped because it was too hard to figure out. Now, I use special software that is pre-made for logo making.

I haven't heard about that GIMP before but photoshop is familiar I use it in photo editing. But I'm not that good yet in photoshop I'm just a beginner in photoshop.

GIMP is the best alternative to photoshop. If in some case you dont have enough money to buy Photoshop, GIMP is open source.

Also, they have many tools for creating buttons and logo and some pre-designed templates. I do recommend people to use GIMP instead of photoshop if you dont have a valid lisence of Photoshop
