  • Need web design advice

I’m a database manager in a company. My gf asked me create a website for her. Web design is something I don’t know but she thinks I’m an expert in computer field and it’s an easy job for me. I can’t let me be down! I’m just looking around the web for some presets. Can you help me?

Well you can look at some website design to guide you. There are also tools for you to design a website like dreamwaver for example. Good luck hope you can create one for your gf. Oh ask her first what kind of site and about the color. :d

There are many reasons why you might like to edit your site content via the net, including ease of use, multiply editor for a site and even a single page as well as authorization of users. Luckily, there are several "Content Editor" on the market that come to the rescue, and in this post we will like to recommend Toko Content Editor.

I know that Dreamweaver is the best program to get and I can learn to use it, but I would like guidance on the actual design process and how Dreamweaver can aid it, along with Do's and Don'ts on web design. What is the best way to actually go about designing etc. Dreamweaver will obviously start you off with a blank page, I want to learn how to start creating great pages.

The goal to any website is a professional look, but most of all, keep it simple. If you have a great looking website that noone can browse easily because it's complex, they will not stick around.

Another thing you want to keep in mind is, when someone lands on the website, you have about 20 seconds to impress them before they hit the browser back button. This means a website should be to-the-point, and not too much chit chat without real content.
