C++ not use In current time I thinks PHP is better than for C++.PHP best and easy language, PHP is the developer’s tool that has gained the most respect amongst Web gurus and aficionados. Most describe it as an easy to use and feature packed program that allows you to create dynamic and database driven Web sites effortlessly. It is a free program that is open source so it can be modified to fit developer’s needs. Most developers who like Linux and mySQL are also fans of PHP.

In my personal point of view C++ is better then and keep in mind that you learn C++ then other language fairly easy for you. I hope you just prefer to learn this language.

PHP is based for strictly web development and is used for Web Based API development.

However good luck coding a video game in PHP! C++ is a programming language not ment for the web. Their both different.

C++ is used for Desktop Application..

Yes, it is true which both are very important language for different purpose as I like PHP for website developing which has amazing user friendly features and it simple to use for creating a new websites.

I think PHP is helpful for the Web application Development and C++ is helpful to get develop the application for the desktop. I also would like to prefer C# for web application development. It is quite static but works fast as compared to other programming languages.

PHP is in demand now a days than C++. But to start any language C++ is the good option......with this basis concepts will be clear........than it will be the easy to learn any other language...

What can you do with PHP that you couldn't in C++ and vice versa?

The reason I ask is I am contemplating which of these two languages to commit my time to learning but could use an elementary breakdown of pro's and con's of each from people that know and understand both.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
