I'd say photoshop 7.0 is the best of all, even though cs2 or 3 do have some cool additions.

I use Fireworks 8 to do my graphics. Sometimes I use Corel. For 3D graphics I use POV-Ray

For those of you who find Photoshop way too expensive, Gimp is supposed to be a good free alternative.

I Use Paint.Net. It is a great replacement for ms paint. You can get it from filehippo.com

Photoshop CS is the best way to do original graphics.

Whats are the odds that Microsoft own Photoshop? lol

I mean it's like all these antivirus software, I at times actually think that Microsoft create these viruses to sell thier programmes.

Photoshop CS2. I used to use paint though lol. Well, after I bought CS2, I've never had to even look at another image making program. (other then ImageReady for animation). Photoshop has to be -the- ultimate image making program available today.

GIMP is pretty cool for those fun graphics but Photoshop CS2 all the way! Though I do admit, Paint is pretty good for pixel art!
