How much do you pay?

I myself don't design any webpages.

I did design one myself, and it is the one in my sig, very simple and I am not very proud of it . Either way, it was free. However I have had an offer on a website designer and he wants $200 for a simple set-up. What do you think?

$200? i only had to pay $85 for a professional design and graphic + Any script set-up

I think 200 dollars is to much money for a simple setup
85-100 dollars per a decent design + some scripts

I would consider $200 really much for a simple website design
I usually charge between $60 & $120, depending on the design and how many pages are going to be designed..

I only can design simple websites using html language, i always make a simple design for my website so i can run it online then i pay to get a professional design and get ride of mine

I agree with others here when they say that $200 is too much for just a basic design.

How much you should have to pay depends upon what you need done. For example: Do you want original graphics designed? How many pages do you want? Will you be using PHP, CSS (external or on page), or a script?

200 is too much in my opinion
i would pay around 50-150, depends on how much i like the work

I suppose it depends what script has been used, I usually pay $70 if I provide the script and domain and banners / logos. I can recommend this person if you wish!

I would pay a maximum of $120, nothing more.

yes, $200 is too much. I have set up online shopping cart for my customer at $100 only with Credit card and paypal payment System

$200 is not too bad, as long as its not just a simple site, I wouldn't pay too much more for a simple site, it all depends on how complex it is.

i do design websites, very professional look too and mostly the graphics are absolutely watchful in my website. and i do setup in php/asp, html is gone these days.
