Where do you get images and graphics?

Where do you get images and graphics for your website? Do you buy them, go to free sites like www.sxc.hu, create them yourself, or (gulp) copy (steal) them from unauthorized sources? I'm a bit of a photography nut, so I have a nearly infinite collection of both good and bad images to manipulate and play with.

I usually make my own images...however they never look very good at all... but the more I practice the better I have been getting at it.

I have hired designers to do graphics for me in another forum - there may also be people here who can do that sort of work. I dont have the time or skill to do it myself so I figured it would be a better route for me to take.

There are free sites giving out free images and photos.

Most webmasters want to have some original and unique images on their sites instead of those that are found on other sites, BUT I do also use some of the free graphics/images and public domain pics that can be found from time to time.

I got them from many sources. I recently bought a CD with over 615000 images to choose, I spend some time going to free resources where I get great stuff, but I don't buy them. I also create tons of graphics by myself.

im lucky enough to have a brother who is a multimedia graduate so I get him to make the majority of my images for me

A graphic designer always want unique image.. as like me.. I never steal others images.. I always looks for unique and high tech one.

Itis the desire of every webmaster to includeunique and original images on the sites. I am interested in usingfree images and graphics.

You can use Google Image, this is really good place for finding images.

Also...buy a good camera...that helps..
