see as far as my views are concerned. design a css page which will enhance the outlook of page. The quality of material will definately attract the viewers.

use some light colored background and follow a bright color fonts and designs.
If it is a music website. use red with white and blue shades.

if business class then user brown and white with musturd color...
color should reflect the type of website you are making. Enjoy....

      HI,

      1. Matching: You want your website to match your business, organization, and/or purpose, obviously. This means your company colors, and its advertising colors, such as what is used in the logo and other documents like letterheads, brochures, etc. Hopefully these colors were initially chosen with a website in mind for the future, but this is not always the case. Thus, you must find colors that are comparable that are deemed as Web-safe on the Web-safe palette. Keep these colors in mind as you determine the best colors to suit your specific needs and wants.

      2. Readability: Your colors have to allow for easy viewing pleasure and reading. You don't want anything too distracting, especially distracting of your message. The rule of thumb is: if you use a light background, use a text that is exactly opposite and dark; if you use a dark background, use a text that is exactly opposite and light. Also, never use a text color that is similar to or close in tone (or shade) of the background. An example of that is like a bright blue background with a yellow text - it is extremely difficult to read.

      3. Repetitive: Keep the same color scheme that you choose throughout the other elements and pages of your entire website. If you deviate colors too much between the pages (and elements) your users may become lost, frustrated, or even confused whether they are still within the same website. Plus, it looks good when it all ties in together.

      4. Images: Gone are the days when having a background image on your website was considered "cool," "technologically interesting," and "aesthetical in design" even when images were fixed backgrounds that made the text appear to "float" on the page when scrolled. Should you choose to use a background image, use one that is small in file size so that it will load quickly, one that will be properly rendered as far as width/heighth of the browser's display, and that gradually has variation in color (that means no wild photographs with a lot of stuff in the image - thus creating lots of different colors).

      5. Variation: This does not mean to abruptly variate the color scheme of the original design between different pages within the site. What I mean by variation, is to use similar colors (as in shades or tones of the original chosen color) for different elements on the page. An example of this would be if you chose black for your text and white for your background, you could also add in maybe a dark navy blue for headlines, a medium-dark gray for text links, etc. Just keep it within reason.

      THANK U.....

When designing a web page, color is a very important factor After all, if you have a home page that is just black and white, it will appear boring and bland to visitors However, if you have a home page that has too many colors or colors that do not go together well, that can also turn off a visitor The object of most web pages is to get the visitor to return Color is a powerful tool to use to help provided those desired results.

In order to use the correct combination of colors on your web page, it is important to understand color meanings That is, you should know which colors compliment each other and make a good match, as well as understanding, which colors clash and should not be used together Color meanings can affect humans in different ways For example, did you know that in some people, the color red could increase their blood pressure What about the color white Americans use it in a joyful sitting - for a weddingut, did you know that in some Asian cultures, white is worn when someone is mourning Have you ever had someone tell you they were green with jealous?

Because some colors have preconceived color meanings, we must use them with care when trying to attract web visitors Colors that are next to each other on the color wheel are often harmonizingut, you must be careful when using colors that are close in valueecause they are so close in value, they may looked washed out or not have enough contract to make an attractive web page For example, yellow is a lovely color, but if you had two different shades of yellow on a web page, it probably will not be enough of a contrast to make it look nice

Different colors have different color meanings The cool color group - blue, green, turquoise and silver - are seen as calming colors The warm color group - red, pink, yellow, gold, and orange - are see as exciting colors There are colors that are in the mixed cool/warm group - purple, lavender, green, and turquoise Then there are the colors in the neutral color group - brown, beige, ivory, gray, black, and white These tend to have a unifying affect.

Before creating your web page, take time to consider the color meanings and how colors might affect your viewers Think of what type of reaction you want someone to feel when they visit your page and look for colors that might evoke that feeling.

              Check this

              Use Blue for corporate websites.

Black is used for DJ and Party sites.

Green is used for health sites.

Red is supposed to be related with medical sites.

You can search in internet for this.
