  • CSS vs Table

Unlike most website designers I started designing with CSS and not html tables. So my first few months were a real pain as I struggled to create CSS that worked in all browsers. But when I came accross table design I couldn't believe how easy it was. So I wonder is it worth it struggling with css or should you code your designs quickly with html?

    Re: CSS vs Table

Well, personally I'd use HTML tables as they are much easier to create and work with than CSS. I am not so experinced with CSS, but I think that in the near future all web designers will move to CSS instead of HTML tables.

. Where as IE treats it individual. . But when it comes design like wordpress column wise simple, cool sites i use CSS. . Anyone here to help with this mess?

I use CSS now, but I can't still forget about tables... I usually include in some of my web designs, but I don't know if it's worth.
Anyone has any article or tutorial where I can find a good comparison between them and decide finally which to use?

              Re: CSS vs Table

Tables are definitely much easier, but css is probably more universal. Do a google search for "tables vs. css". The first result is an interesting article on sitepoint about it.

The second result has a really good pros and cons discussion. The basic answer is it's not worth obsessively replacing every table with a div.
