Depends what kind of hair you have. Personally I have quite curly/wavy hair and I've found using a diffuser to get the curls going through my hair works fast and looks quite good. I flip my head over and pretty much go at it.

You can also try blow drying with a straightening attachment and a large flat brush for a straighter look, or by using a large diameter rounded brush while blow drying. Make sure when you're trying to straighten or smooth you direct the blowdryer down the hair. If you're unfamiliar with techniques you can google how to blow dry hair straight/curly/wavy.

Another one of an easy curly hairstyles can be braids. If you don't mind wearing your hair up, I guess you could be a bit creative with braids here and there. Go to google images and look up quick hairstyles or something of the sort and try to practice them in the mirror. The only problem I have found with wearing your hair up is that it can easily come out and get quite messy.
