Hello,
I've inherited an older windows 2000 server. It acts as a co-location box. Recently, I've been unable to access it until it is rebooted. Today, I checked out the event logs and saw it filled with error messages. Some of them said: "The device, \Device\Scsi\Ultra1, did not respond within the timeout period." and others said: "dmio: Disk Harddisk5 block 562598323 (mountpoint M: Uncorrectable write error" Many of these two occured in the last two days.
Another message I received a little while ago said:
"The device, \Device\Scsi\Pnp6801, did not respond within the timeout period."
Can anyone tell me what it looks like the problem is, or could be? I'm thinking that a hard drive has gone bad (or is going bad). Thanks
