Going thru an auction provider eases the process but is a little expensive.

By visiting some of the forums as well as domain auctions, if your domain names are really of high quality, you will receive a lot of offers from the possible buyers.

if you're only looking to sell to a fellow domainer, you may as well use a forum such as NamePros, or DNF.

I usually use NamePros.com to sell my websites. DigitalPoint is also another route you could take. I don't trust eBay personally.

In reply to Jakey; I also use Namepros and Sedo and Ebay. I wouldn't say I don't trust Ebay. It's just not a good place to get a reasonable price for your domains.
Sedo are safe and secure; but unless you have an offer for a domain name, getting listed in auctions is not easy. They have some really crazy ideas on what is or is not a premium domain. I have had short, single dictionary word .com's turned down, only to see some stupid names listed that never get bids. I think with Sedo if you are paying for optimization, and have an account manager then you could probably get anything you wanted into a premium auction.

              Regards

              Ralph.

I've always had pretty good luck at NamePros. Either way, I personally would avoid auctioning sites like Sedo. They just seem to give out a false sense of communication, and you do not get to choose who you want your buyer to be - they choose you... And you have to deal with them, regardless of what their reputation may be like.

What extensions you got in most of your domains??/ I mean names are also important. So you might not getting a good deal because of the names and extensions. Try to sell them over namepros or afternic. I am sure you will get good deals/
