There is a saying "you get what you pay for".

And I think once the free hosts down, no matter how high your website PR is, you lost does more than you pay for the host.

Free host is free, they are not too useful, if you are running any serious site/business then you shouldn't go for free hosting, instead go for paid hosting I would say.

You can't trust any free or paid hosting. You have to trust your self for keeping your sites up and running. All paid hosting has TOS which usually keep them safe from any thing happen to their clients like server crashes to backups. It might be worse at free hosting since users don't pay for the service.

Well there ARE good free hosts. The problem is, once everyone finds out about them, they start overusing their resources, and your hosting quality suffers as a result.

There are a couple reasons why I would never use a free hosting service.

1. If they collect personal details, they may or may not sell or share these details to third parties
2. Can't be 100% reliable because if they are unable to sustain the free service, they can just pack up shop and leave everyone hanging dry.

why would a free host be more reliable then a paid host? and why using free host come with restriction and ads since they offer it for free. i would trust them since they could loose all my data and sharing my info to anybody else

Nothing in life is free, there is always some hidden or sometimes blatant requirement. It is better to pay, as it will ensure liability and security.
