    Of course it is not healthy but having sleep for 5 hours a month is not that bad though it is always safe if you can sleep 8 or more hours.

      I have heard that 6 hours of sleep is required to feel refreshed during the day, although like most people on here, I normally survive on 4 - 5.

        Surviving is totally different from being healthy. So to be healthy it is necessary to have a deep sleep of at least 6 hrs. per day.

            Doctors will told you that you must sleep 7-8 hours a day but I can say that all depend on a particular person, I can sleep 5 hours a day and feel myself great but my friend sleep 9 hours a day and it is not enough for him! So look inside and if you feel all right it means all is right

                6 hours is the optimum time for a sleep. We need rest. Even a machine needs rest.

                  It's not healthy if you are only sleeping for only 4 to 5 hours a day. Our body needs rest; sleeping is the best way to relax our body, so we need 6-8 hours of sleep per day.
