offline marketing is costly than online marketing. But I must admit offline marketing such as T.V promotion, or radio or advertising in newspaper etc...would be very effective as well.

I market both online and offline. For offline marketing, I use business cards and flyers. I also talk about my business and website when the opportunity pops up. My car has an ad on it that reflects my business name, what I do and the website URL.

Offline networking should be pursued in addition to online networking. Local Chamber of Commerce, trade shows, seminarst are all good opportunities for networking.

Offline marketing should be integrated for maximum effect. Traditional marketing can play a big part in informing your target audience about your web site. Advertising, direct marketing and PR should all be included in your web site promotional plan.

I'd say first buy some products from true professionals... Offline marketing (as well as a lot of online marketing) needs to be closely watched and tracked... test the waters before going all out; make sure you have a winner before spending any big money.
