Has anyone tried to promote a product in a video via Youtube?
It does not rely have to be a product ... maybe a song.
What were your results?

i've tried that before
i recording some videos tutorial regarding my products, and upload them onto youtube video.
promote the videos on other sites.
it does bring me traffic, but not so good.

Like here is something useful - link to youtube video - and from here the interested visitors came to your site.
Also did you include a link in your video or you had a link for the site in the description of the video?

In youtube marketing first of all you will need good/useful content on the video which will get video users to like your video. If the content is not good then it would be probably a bad idea to get the links instead get dislikes which will lead to lower ranking on youtube.com. To market your video you can try:

* Post your link in niche similar popular videos
* Post on related related forums
* Make full use of your Title, Tags and description with the targeted keyword
* Share on facebook, facebook groups, twitter and etc

Youtube is best source of traffic and I always upload videos to get traffic.

Based on what said here I've tried it ... but the results were not so good for me. however there were results. I think I just need to tune my video and advertising it.

I had some videos running and i think it is the best way to get customers and traffic.
Just create a nice video that will target audience and views and put your website there.
Ofc keep creating videos so you will get your viewers to subscribe
