Hostgator vs Godaddy

I have heard a lot of good and bad things about both. We currently use Go Daddy and they just redid all their stuff, its a lot more user friendly now. So right now I'd have to say Go Daddy...

Both are good & as far as hosting is concerned as much as care you need to take your end with the help your web master if you are not the designer of your site. Regarding server issue you can contact them.

When you go for hosting or registration always analyze the provider through his service like backup, uptime guarantee, customer support etc.

godaddy is good with domains and hostgator is nice with hosting...thats my opinion

If you have a forum which is too much for a shared account but can't afford a VPS Then Godaddy shared hosting is the best thing you can get. this is the only place I have seen 100% server uptime.

I have an account on hostgator for sending out opt-ed emails out.

I would never purchase hosting with the same company that I've registered a domain with, heard too many horror stories of the host taking the domains.

they have fast reliable server, world wide trustable name, they have a great control panel,help files and fast responses to tickets.

I have tried both hostgator and godaddy and my hat goes off to hostgator. Never liked godaddy as a domain registrar and I don't like their hosting either.

I have used both, for different purposes. HostGator I find to be better in terms of hosting (hands down). I have been with GoDaddy for all my domain names for ages. I've never used GoDaddy hosting but I can tell you that both companies provide unparalleled service. I would trust GoDaddy with hosting anytime due to their awesome domain name service.

I never used hostgator so my voting will surely go for godaddy and i think so it's most widely used in dealing for domaining business so Godaddy will get lots more votes than hostgator. You should have started a poll about this
