PHP is open source and popular and for that reason thats what I think is best. Because it is open source and free you'll have no problems finding a server for your website that will support PHP.

PHP and ASP.Net both are good, If want to develop more secure website then ASP.net is better. If you want less security and simple website then PHP is best website. PHP websites are more search engine friendly.

php is used for web development it is enough to build a web site. by using dreamweaver tool u can easily and fastly develop a web site.

According to me PHP is best.PHP doesn’t require an array to be declared with a certain type, so this bit of confusion isn’t really possible.

I agree. If you are building a comparatively larger website like for banking systems or for your company, where security is paramount, ASP.NET is recommended. But for personal website or websites where you promote your business, a simple and cost effective solution would be PHP.
