I think both of them are good. There is no harm of taking one of those extensions. For IT related website .net is good and for the educational site .info is better.

While the other way around is possible to. It's all about gut feeling, don't let a budget hold you back. I would prefer a .net over .info though.It also depends on the domain name itself. Some just work better as .net, while others .info. I used to have a proxy: SafeDirect.net I thought was great but as a .info I wouldn't like it.

The extension of any site address varies on the content they use. if the content is associated somehow to IT then .net should be used and .info for education related site.

Depends. If it's a site that will be giving out info (incl. directories) then just go for a .info. What are you planning to do with the site? If you're going to develop it using a unique software then go for .net.

Only if it was a last resort would I use .info. A .net is always the better choice. I think personally that a .com or .org is better but, then .net.

Decide it by depending on the content of the site; such as for IT related websites .Net would be more fruitful whereas for educational site .info will be better.

I'd go ahead and register at once. It is a network of information, if my finances permit. But if I had to choose one, I would go for. Net.

I think .com is the commercial Site.And it is good if it is available ..because in these day no .com site is available ..and second option is for .net site.
